I have this tiny snippet of info referring to Parade magazine
Mark And Brian Show, KLOS-FM
January 18, 2005
Banter: They read an article about Johnny Depp, from Parade Magazine. It mentions him wearing a wristband, a gift from Melissa Gilbert, a board member of Children's Hospice.
Has anyone seen the article and if so can you share what it says. I can't find anything on the Parade website.
Thank you

Emma I just checked this past Sunday's Parade and the article is not in there. If I remember correctly it should be in this Sunday's issue. Everyone be on the look out. This is a supplement that comes in your Sunday Newspaper.

Actually, I talked to Lori at Children's Hospice, and she informed me that it would be in this coming Sunday's paper. She also said that those wanting to put in an order for a bracelet have a better chance of getting it sooner than later (8 weeks) if they order before Sunday.
You can't judge a book by its cover.
The only thing that matters is the ending. It's the most important part of the story.

Hi!
Finally joined after lurking since the old zone.
I read about the bracelets here when it first came up and ordered 4 - one for me, and one for each of my three daughters.
Mr. amazed is a cancer survivor and our family supports as many cancer organizations as we can manage.
Our yellow and pink rubber wristbands were getting a bit grubby!
We all have the single braided and love them. Much nicer for my daughters too - they are young professional women and feel more comfortable wearing these to work. And they spread the word when they're asked about their bracelets.
All three of them had tears in their eyes when they found the bracelets in their Christmas stockings and realized this was for children. Really reminds us to count our blessings.
