Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Just my third post to the thread, I've been astounded at how mesmerizing I've found this trial. It's really too bad that I see some comments in the media obviously written by people who aren't closely following it in all its minutiae, I think it's actually worth following whether you're writing about it or not.
Two points from today:
1. What a dumpster fire with that psychiatrist expert witness. I can't make this stuff up, another nail in the coffin for Amber's defense.
2. I don't know whether to trust the rumors I've seen online that yes, Kate Moss is testifying?

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Having dropped by to mock Dr. Spiegel's testimony, I wonder if everybody caught when he seems to have accidentally quoted Pirates with this:
'The code is more what you'd call 'guidelines' than actual rules.'
--even better, he was referring to the ethical guidelines of the American Psychiatric Association, which he repeatedly admitted to breaking with his testimony today.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
So what a day in court today when will AH case finally rest !!!! There is only 3 days left, AH has 4 hours left and Johnny has 15. He barely has time to call all
The rebuttal witnesses!!!!! So my question is when AH time runs out, does that mean they can’t cross any of Johnny’s wittinesses? So basically the rest of the time belongs to Johnny’s team ? I’m just confused, it seems like AH and Elaine has taken up so much time in this trial !!

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I missed this morning's testimony of the orthopedic doctor...except the part where the doctor said that Johnny's finger could not have been injured the way he said. The doctor then based everything on the 'fact' that Johnny had his hand flat on the bar. Yet Johnny not only said that his had was on the EDGE of the bar, he even demonstrated that very thing.
So my question is this...did Camille call him out on that discrepancy? That Johnny's hand was NOT flat on the bar?

I didn't catch that! Sounds like the man has watched the Pirates movies more than once!DannyPlaysPoker wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 6:53 pmHaving dropped by to mock Dr. Spiegel's testimony, I wonder if everybody caught when he seems to have accidentally quoted Pirates with this:

Yes. And the doc admitted he might have "mispoken" -- as usual I felt Camille won.Theresa wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 8:35 pmI missed this morning's testimony of the orthopedic doctor...except the part where the doctor said that Johnny's finger could not have been injured the way he said. Re: The Lawsuits Thread
It was her first question in cross to point out that discrepancy.
What I really like about Mrs. Vasquez is that she sounds personally offended when witnesses are wrong about something or she catches them in a "lie". She is a passionate warrior.
AH needs to rest the case, I can't listen to the expert fiction anymore. I have no idea if JD can call all his rebuttal witnesses in the 15 hours left. Some of them need introduction to make their testimony powerful.
To rule out the DV/SA aspects they focus on these incidents:
Hicksville, plane, Australia, stairs - so I guess every other incident is already considered a "win" for JD. Nice.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I am somewhat surprised that Kate Moss is going to testify. They must have deposed her during the week break. I am not sure if AH's team can cross examine Kate, if they are out of time. I listened to Emily D Baker and she was not sure either. AH's team might save some time so they can cross examine Kate Moss. If Kate does testify, Johnny's team has to be careful about the questions that they are asking her. They do not want to open the door for AH's team to ask her questions about their hard partying times or an incident where a hotel room was trashed.
Yesterday's testimony did to help AH. The psychiatrist sounded like he disliked Johnny and was basing his testimony on his own feelings about Johnny. The doctor could not get his story straight about the position of Johnny's hand during the finger incident. Her agent was a joke. All the jurors had to do was watch AH's testimony, to know that she is not a good actor. I loved Ben Chew's cross of AH,'s agent.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
As of yesterday, her team only had approx 5 hrs left to use and JD's team had approx 15 hrs. Kate is supposed to testify by video link, if she is called. JD was supposed to be called yesterday. Maybe they changed their minds.Judymac wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 8:58 amI am somewhat surprised that Kate Moss is going to testify. They must have deposed her during the week break. JD's team lost their motion to strike her counterclaim. There was an oral hearing this morning but she had already decided last night. You can fast forward the arguments at the beginning see what she said.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
TMZ filed an emergency motion to block the person who accepted release of the kitchen video from testifying tomorrow.

It means they don't want to reveal who they got the video from, imo.
