It's always a pleasure to wrap up a Birthday Project and send the proceeds to the charity, but this year it's especially heartwarming because it was a difficult year to give and because the need in Haiti is so great. Six months after a disaster, fatigue sets in, and our attention is taken by something new, so the Zone's check will come at a good time.
Thanks again
to everyone who contributed to this year's Birthday Project. You are all fantastic.

Thanks to PTP and the Zone for offering this opportunity to help Haiti in Johnny's name.
An impressive total too!

Oh, good! I'm glad to hear it.
I have received confirmation that Save the Children received our mailing with the donation check on June 23rd (I sent it registered mail, of course), but I haven't received an official thank-you letter yet. When I get one, I will post it here.

PtP, at the top of the letter it has a date of 13th July that the donation was received so I guess that's the date that the payment was put through their system.
