What wonderful news, PtP!! All those kiddies who will get clean water, a good meal, shelter, medical care...there are so many who are still in need. I don't think there is another time quite like this when we can show Johnny we are not just admirers of his work, but active supporters and contributers helping to spread his generosity and kindness to others.
Not everyone can give. Its has been a hard year. So for those who can, remember you speak for all zoners. I love to say, a gift from one of us is a gift from all of us!!
I am off to scour my checking account. Plan on making another contribution if I can before the deadline!!!
I love you all !!!!!

Wow, that is very impressive in such a difficult economic climate.

to everyone who researched, organised and donated to such a worthy cause. The winners are going to be the children.

Great news to hear that the figure is rising - looks like we are on track to meet previous' years grand totals - especially since many zoners wait until Johnny's birthday to donate.
A huge thanks

to PtP, Theresa and everyone else who worked so hard to set this up. It is a honour to be a part of such a caring comunity as the JDZ. And the JDZ is a huge credit to the man who we honour, admire and respect

- I think that every donation, no matter how large or small is an excellent way of saying thank-you to Johnny for bringing so much joy and happiness to us all.

We're entering the last weekend of the 2010 Birthday Project, and here's a suggestion . . .
if you can't find anything worth seeing at the movies this weekend (a distinct possibility . . . there's not much out there to tempt you), why not donate the cost of a movie ticket to the Birthday Project instead? You'll have the satisfaction of helping children in Haiti and saluting Johnny Depp for all the wonderful times you've spent in a movie theater watching his work.
Many thanks to those generous Zoners who have contributed to the Birthday Project in the past day or two. We hope to have another update soon!

Well I don't go to the movies any weekend but a good excuse to donate again PTP, thanks for the nudge.

The time has truly rushed by since the project started and we've done well so far, I'm sure it will be an epic total by 9th June.

Yes, it's hard to believe it's the last weekend of the Birthday Project. Time just flies by . . . and soon we'll be hearing that Pirates 4 has started filming. I'm still trying to adjust to the fact that it's already June!
Many thanks to those who have donated to the Birthday Project today!
Cheers to you!

I had a surprise bonus from my job

so I sent some of it to Johnny's birthday present/project.
I pray some little child will find a bit of comfort, hope, and protection from my contribution. How terribly frightened they must be!
Thanks to those who did the research and made the arrangements
for this very worthy cause!
Happy Birthday, dear Johnny...
Happy Birthday to you!
