Great news! The 2010 Birthday Project raises $1,000!
Wow! We're celebrating!
Happy news . . . the 2010 Birthday Project to benefit Save the Children's work in Haiti has now raised more than $1,000!
Many thanks to the generous Zoners who have given to help the children of Haiti. We all know the need is great.
Last night CBS ran a special public service announcement for Save the Children during the airing of their #1 drama, NCIS, asking for donations as part of their CBS Cares campaign. I felt very proud that the Zone is in there doing its part to help ease the suffering of Haiti's children and make a better world.
It's a wonderful way to tell Johnny !
In these very difficult financial times, when our budgets are stretched to the limit, it is especially wonderful to have reached this total. We know it's not easy to give, but when we work together, we can really accomplish a lot.
Thanks for giving!
And if you haven't given to the Birthday Project yet . . . why not today?

Thanks so very much to everyone who has donated so far. We still have 4 weeks left in the Birthday Project, and I'd love to see our total go up and up and up!

Thanks PtP for the update, that's an amazing total in such a short amount of time especially as the current economic climate is so rocky. It doesn't take a big donation to add up to alot and I'm sure this figure will rise significantly by the time the project is finished. Well done to everyone, Johnny would be so touched and proud of all involved in such a worthy cause.

Wow, just for the first week or so!! Great job zoners!! And yes every dollar helps...it pays for a meal or clean water or medical care...I am so proud to be part of this birthday project. I love it!!!
If you have ever wished to thank Johnny for all the great movies and fun he has brought into our lives...this is the way to thank him!! He is such a giving person to his fans, his co-workers, everyone he comes in contact with.

Thanks, ITD. I know it's a very tough time financially for just about everyone, so it's all the more impressive that a bunch of hard-working, skint-broke (for the most part) ladies can offer this gift for Johnny and the children of Haiti.In-too-Depp wrote: Thanks PtP for the update, that's an amazing total in such a short amount of time especially as the current economic climate is so rocky. Many thanks to the Zoners who gave to the Birthday Project yesterday!
Let's keep up the good work!

Beautifully put, Kittycat! It's a way to give back. I like to think of the Birthday Project as passing on the joy that Johnny gives to us--putting a smile on a child's face, or relief in a worried mother's eyes--what could be better?Kittycat88 wrote:Wow, just for the first week or so!! For some, with the ecomony, it is not a good time to give, but I am trying to put a dollar aside here and there...and give a little each week...even unemployment won't stop me from this great project...Johnny and the Zone have brought too much pleasure into my life...

If I mail money to that address, do I have to mail 'US dollar ' only or I can mail the money of other country ?
Thank you Theresa
