You cannot change your email address by yourself; the change has to be made by a Zone administrator. To change your Zone email address, email or PM the Zone's webmaster, Part-Time Poet ( natalie@johnnydepp-zone.com ) or Theresa ( theresa@johnnydepp-zone.com ); give your screen name, your current email, and the new email address you want to use. We will change the address in your profile for you.
Why can't I just go into my profile and change my email myself, the same way I change my password? This is a protection against hackers. One common way that hackers gain access to a site is by hijacking a legitimate member's account and changing the email address to their own. As a safeguard, the system is set up to disallow anyone from changing their email address, unless that change is made by a Zone administrator.
