It is an honor and privilege to be a part of the Zone. The admins, mods and members are a class act, and I could not be more proud to have taken a small part in this birthday project.

I couldn't help noticing that it looks like this amazing note was typed on a real typewriter. Would I ever love to have a gander at that! I picture a vintage, 1920's model, a la Sam Spade. Picture Johnny, wearing one of his white undershirts, sitting at his desk in his home in the South of France, hammering away at the keys of a black antique typing machine, writing a Thank You note to his fans on the Zone...

What a wonderful letter and beautiful jesture to take the time...and he says we are an inspiration to him? I can tell you that Johnny has literally saved my life and inspired me to find the "self" that I had lost many years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for giving us this wonderful man. I hope that he knows how much we truly love him. And to the many at the Zone, I only wish that I could meet each and everyone of you, as you have become my extended "circle of friends". While I understand your curiosity, GG, it must remain unsatisfied on that point. I don't know of any contact between the hospital and JD or his people; they may have done so, but if they did, they didn't tell me anything about it.
