Johnny. . .he is just so lovely. . .I don't know what to say but luckily, his own words on the paper are the best testament to what a special and beautiful person he is. . .
And, Natalie, thank you so much for making the Zone the special place that it is, for all the hard work that you put into everthing that goes on here and for always presenting this site in such a wonderful way. . .
(must go and reread that letter again)!

Beautifully said HP1, ..... his kindness is absolutely never-ending.
Thank you Part-time Poet for sharing his beautiful letter with all of us.

What a very sweet, kind and thoughtful man! But we knew that.
As a pediatric nursing student and a proud fan of Johnny, I was happy to contribute!
Once again, many thanks to the Zone's administrators who made this wonderful opportunity possible.

He is a man among men. Truly a kinder soul is a rarity.
Is it any wonder we hold him in such high esteem???
Bless YOU, Johnny.

Thanks PtP for posting this and thank you Johnny for your kind, sweet words.

He has a way of huddling down under his hat and his totemsBut when the camera was on him, some of the times, he kind of beamed Johnny out It was striking, like one of those magic powers in those hobbit movies.John Richardson Esquire Magazine

I had tears in my eyes reading this letter....
How wonderful of him to say that he "
shall continue to aspire in my efforts and contributions to, at the very least, attempt to keep up with your level of thoughtfulness, commitment and kindness."
It was HIS level of thoughtfulness, commitment and kindness that inspired us and made us his faithful and loyal fans. May we continue to honor each other and Johnny in many more acts of thoughtfulness, commitment and kindness.
I have nothing to do and all day to do it in.

As always, Johnny's words render me speechless with awe and delight.
Natalie, thank you for providing us with a venue to both revere and honor him.

Wow!! I'm so happy that he took the time to thank us. Thank you Natalie for organizing these birthday projects.
This is so wonderful and I'm so happy to be part of the Zone.

What a beautiful letter. Johnny has such a lovely way with the written word. It is clear he is deeply touched and I sure we all are, not only by his thoughtfulness in acknowledment, but by everyone's generosity here. I'm proud to be counted among such a lovely group of people.

I don't know whether to
or
after reading this wonderful message from Johnny. Thank you Natalie, theresa and all those that set up the birthday project so we could show our gratitude to Johnny for all that he gives to us. The thought of all the children benefiting from the project is in itself reward enough but this is definitely icing on that cake.
In deference to you all
The deference is ours and I
to you Johnny for all that you inspire in others without even seeming to aim for that objective. He reaches out to so many with action and not words, a truly kind and compassionate man.

How kind of him to personally reply. "Utmost love and respect" -- wow. Thanks to the Zone for allowing me to be part of it all.

Congratulations, Natalie, to you and everyone here at the Zone. It was an honor to be a part of this year's Birthday Project and reading Johnny's letter makes it even more special. He is truly amazing. It is such a gift he gives us that he can have the fame and all the "hooplah" that goes with it and remain the good, kind person we know him to be.
