I agree. I am shedding tears of joy seeing our combined donations helping people live the life we all take for granted. Thank you Forgotten People for letting us see into the lives of these people and the change we have been able to make in their lives. :cloud9:

Some of you were concerned that we forgot Alice Tso. Alice Tso is one of the people that got a Johnny Depp Zone water system to implement off - grid water systems with piped running water!

Alice lives in a 1-room house made of creosote soaked railroad ties in Grand Falls in the Navajo Nation. Here are some photos of her Home Make Over w handicap ramps.

Thank you Holten Church, Mesa Grande Academy, Jesse Rothstein, UC Berkeley Project Pueblo, and local folks for helping with Alice's home make over.

Thank you Grand Canyon Trust and USDA for her solar system. Installation is almost complete and soon Alice will be able to turn on her kitchen faucet and have lights.

:rose: Thank you for your concern :rose:

My name is Marsha Monestersky. I am a Program Director for Forgotten People, Navajo Nation
Thanks for the update and pictures, Marsha. It's really neat to see the pictures of Alice Tso's home remodel.

We are so proud to be a small part of this life-changing project!

I've not been able to come to the Zone much lately, but this week I've been able to steal a few moments and it's been wonderful to return to this thread again again to read of how we managed to help these strong, beautiful people to attain something that we all take for granted "clean, safe water". I've been tearing up for the past three days each time I've come to read more of this thread, what a privilege and honor to have been able to help them.

I'm so happy for Mrs. Tso, Mrs Whitesinger and all the other people of their community who have or will receive new water systems. To Bonnie Whitesinger, I so wish I could meet you and your mother, but I live too far away and like others here have said I am with you in spirit and hoping that if you have pictures that you will share them with us. Thank you.

Dear Johnny Depp Zoners,

Update on Johnny Depp Zone water system

We are delivering everything onsite to get ready for Project Pueblo La Sierra University to arrive Sunday night, 9/9! Here is a link to photos of deliveries to Pauline Whitesinger and Leonard Benally in Big Mountain. We still have to deliver supplies to Alice & Kee Z. Begay. That makes 5 systems in Big Mountain and Black Mesa, 1 system in Grand Falls for Alice Tso and 1 system in Box Springs for Rolanda Tohannie. Water tanks are coming in this week. More photos to come.

:rose: Thank you :rose:

I'm almost speechless and those over at ONBC who remember me will find that impossible! An aid organization that responds so promptly to its donors with personalized thanks and continued updates AND that they have just got on with doing what their organization is supposed to do - help people!

Congratulations all around - Johnny for having a birthday that we can celebrate each year in this way - Theresa and PTP for finding Project Pueblo - zoners for supporting it - Project Pueblo and Forgotten People for putting our gifts to such good use in an incredibly timely fashion - AND especially to those folks who are getting fresh clean water - lots of kudos all around :ok:
