Thanks for the update PtP, wonderful to see so much given in such a short amount of time.

Just to clarify though, is that just the total paid directly to MercyCorps or does that include what's been paid through PayPal directly to the zone total?

That's everything, ItD. As we receive donations through PayPal, I manually update the Mercy Corps page so the total is always current, or very nearly so.

That is, unless anyone has donated by check or phone, or by some other means other than the links we provided on the first post of this thread and hasn't let me know.

Thanks Theresa, I only asked because when I did some donating over the weekend I noticed no change in the total and wasn't sure if the Paypal donations would be added later. I guess it just takes a while until you have a chance in your busy schedule to update.

I usually wait until I get home in the evening so I can get my records updated and the thank-you emails sent out.

...and I'd love to have lots and lots of records to update and lots of thank-yous to send out!

Finally made my donation, I had a son to marry off over the weekend so my life has been a whirlwind the past few weeks, I am home relaxing today and catching up on everything, especially Johnny's birthday and this wonderful project, thank you again for setting this up, I feel honored to be a part of the Zone and able to participate in such an incredible project.

If memory serves, there are several Zoners who wait until Johnny's actual birthday to donate to the annual Birthday Project.

I'd like to donate again this year, when exactly does the project close? My direct deposit goes in late Thurs/early Fri CST, could probably hit paypal late tomorrow night and be OK.
