Amazing. His message was on point (I think) - avoided preaching, was just kind and calm.

I have been watching this all day - fascinating to see who he is following - a who's who of both Hollywood and the music world - makes you aware once again of the quality of his friends (also my nosey, enquiring mind wondered if the odd person here or there might be a bit more than a friend ...... STOP IT!) But seriously - veterans and cool folk - really good to see.

He looks wonderful. I simply cannot believe looking back at the pictures of him at the beginning of 2016 that it is the same person. Amazing what getting rid of the poison does for a person.

Adam Waldman has become quite the go between to Johnny as well. His Instagram has gained popularity and he's been a gem with responding to JD fan posts and questions.

Maybe he has no beef with Cara and she is an actress now but who cares? I really don't see how he has the time for IG and facebook and someone else is most likely posting and monitoring but still we get to see him more than ever now. YEE HAA!!!

It’s been great. Yes I think someone is helping him, but Adam has said to the fans Johnny is and will post. It’s been fun watching to see who he follows, but that is his business. In the very beginning it seemed some unexpected choices but now more recently I think Johnny is the one picking. These people especially the music people seem more his style and interest. I think Adam has had a lot of influence in setting this up and maybe who he should initially follow. All good though

His video message blew me away. So perfect. So heartfelt. And so sincere. That is the Johnny we all fell for and support. Humble and authentic

I imagine Johnny, like most of us, is bored, lonely, and has plenty of time these days for social media.
How much he posts/shares after the pandemic, while he's working, and when he's going through the trials, remains to be seen.

I for one am glad to see him on social media although I doubt he'll be on there all the time. If you think about it, it's a great way for him to control his message to his fans and I'm sure he'll enjoy reading the comments from many of them. He's obviously talked about this with others and felt now was the time to do it. I just hope it doesn't get bombarded by idiots with an agenda but he'd be aware of that possibility and he's bound to have someone monitoring and dealing with all that.

(Usually I wouldn't be this excited about an account, but FB is the most accessible for some of my faves.).
