The Lawsuits Thread
Thank you everyone for the updates on these complex documents. How anyone could be around her for more than five minutes is beyond me, her constant need for attention, validation and drama, the way she keeps arguing over and over around some trivial point is exhausting. She is a very disturbed woman and needs help, not that I have any sympathy for her.
According to the Daily Mail she is now selling her desert house. Time for her to face reality and take some responsibility for what she has done.

I am reading reports she filed for bankruptcy but if this is true, then how did she post the bond for the appeal? She can't be bankrupt while flying around on private jets, vacationing in the Hamtpons and staying at a home during the trial which was $25K a month.

If she filed for Bankruptcy there would be court records in California. Emily Baker has been searching for the court records and has not found any. Emily said that as of last Friday, AH's bankruptcy is only a *rumor*. That does not mean that she will never file for bankruptcy just that it is not true that she has already filed for bankruptcy. Emily also said that just because she files for bankruptcy, it does not mean that she does not have to pay the judgement.ForeverYoung wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 4:30 pmI am reading reports she filed for bankruptcy but if this is true, then how did she post the bond for the appeal? Don't be surprised if this story ends up in the main stream news media. I read a book called, Trust Me, I'm Lying, by Ryan Halliday. The book is about people who start rumors because they have an agenda. They keep repeating the rumors until some obscure press picks it up. It gets repeated enough that the main stream news media repeats it as fact. The author is in public relations and participated in doing this. He gives examples of how he did this and how the news media does not bother to fact check.
Again, not saying that AH will never file for bankruptcy. I will believe if someone can actually show that a bankruptcy was filed.

I thought most of the Depp Army would demob following the VA verdict, but the traffic seems to have increased (ignoring all the gawkers that turned up just for the trial). And then there’s the unsealed documents…..
But some housekeeping first. I have not yet responded to two questions (from weeks ago):
Newt – you asked me about why I thought Zack Snyder was implicated. Maybe I was a little quick to judge, but I believe he was involved during the Justice League thing. It is however based mostly on published gossip. Some I read indicated that AH had slept with JM to get him on side, then ZS who in pillow talk indicated he was happy to cast her but the lead actor (JM) would probably object (not realising she already had him on-side). ZS then left the production for family matters (did his wife tell him to leave?). JW was brought in – WB told him to reduce Ray fisher’s role (their decision, not JW’s). JW’s ex accused him of being bad. Ray accused JW of racism. Charisma Carpenter raised her allegations, the Buffy crew mostly supported her but of the Angel cast only MB posted non-committal words of sympathy. I think WB then scapegoated JW, brought ZS back and WB figured they had made their problems disappear. But its just imo. Maybe I have things wrong. I haven’t watched Justice League (or have any desire to do so) – my thoughts are not related to the film itself.
Judymac – regarding the anti-SLAPP motions allowed by Judge Azcarate. If they have been permitted, why did the case even go ahead rather than being stopped by anti-SLAPP? Does this mean they can now try to throw out the verdict after the fact? I understand you are not a lawyer. I just don’t understand how the anti-SLAPP motion could be allowed but doesn’t appear to have had any effect on the trial or the appeal (so far).
This post:
The material contained in the unsealed documents, from what we have seen so far is explosive imo. Serial lawyers LOL. Don’t mention Kaplan or why she fled. Or Jennifer Howell’s testimony (hearsay – it mentioned 8 embryos but I think there were 12 weren’t there? Roflmao). Regarding Kaplan, the motions claim that TeamDepp's allegations that she knew of AH's guilt and then distanced herself were unfounded, but I would dearly like to see those claims tested before a judge.
But who was paying her bills, imo was highly relevant. There is an implication, an inference anyone can make, that AH traded human eggs/embryos for her legal fees and one or two Telsas. This is morally and legally ambiguous, depending on how it is presented. Some scenarios include the embryos being genetically modified (a Crime Against Humanity). A reddit thread suggests that Musk is trying to breed a super-race to colonise Mars. Musk himself appears to be trolling these people by naming his son with Grimes X AE A-XII (an index-like name that could be interpreted as the 12th embryo created as a cross between Amber and Elon, using AH’s egg). As it is most probable that EM and Grimes’ child is from Grimes’ egg, I can only assume that the name was a deliberate troll by EM.
But that is a side issue.
Further to the unsealed documents issue: whilst I grant that it is prejudicial, when one party must pay their own legal fees and the other party can pursue any legal action at zero financial penalty, the party paying their own bills is at significant disadvantage. This happens in Australia frequently in divorce and custody battles. Free Legal Aid is generally extended to one party and the other is forced to foot the legal costs themselves. This may reduce the load on the courts, but it means that many reasonable and justifiable legal suits cannot proceed due to financial constraints and it is possible for the other party to launch a flurry of frivolous lawsuits, in full confidence that even if they lose, it costs them nothing and no penalty applies. It works like SLAPP lawsuits, but for personal rather than public participation. I’m not sure what the solution is (if there even is one). I was a bit dubious when Azcarate set time limits on each party but now recognise her wisdom. I’m not sure that setting a funding/expenses cap would work, but maybe there should be some sort of parity or equivalency? Maybe there needs to be something like a National Health Scheme but for legal issues (and not means tested)? Being wealthy shouldn’t mean that you have to risk being bankrupted just to defend yourself, especially when wealthy celebs are often serial targets of golddiggers, frauds and grifters. And they are like sharks, once there is blood in the water they all swarm in a feeding frenzy.
When JD went into the UK trial it cost him millions and AH nothing. When he went into VA it cost him even more than the UK trial – and again, she paid little or nothing in legal costs. I guess it cost her a bit to set up the trusts to protect her assets if/when she lost.

The family house is often excluded from assets seizure, but that depends on the nation and may be influenced by its value. If it is your sole place of residence, you normally get to keep it (here at least). You will also be excluded from becoming a corporate director and any income will be heavily garnisheed. You cannot normally take out unsecured loans or run credit cards (but there are also ways around this too).
Specifically, bankruptcy will not vacate any debts incurred from government fines or court awarded damages. Unpaid fines can also result in arrest and incarceration (but non-payment of damages will not).
There are also ways to avoid bankruptcy and still get debts cleared - in Australia it is called "Part 10", in the USA it is called "Chapter 11". I would be most surprised if AH didn't look at Chapter 11 first.
I know firsthand about (Australian) bankruptcy laws. A bankrupt can spend unlimited amounts of money as long as they are spending someone else's money. Or money they previously stashed in some corporate entity or trust. When a TV network puts her on a private jet, at their expense, that's OK too. There is generally a provision to surrender your passport, but this will normally be released (completely or on a trip by trip basis) if you need to travel internationally for work or for compassionate reasons.I am reading reports she filed for bankruptcy but if this is true, then how did she post the bond for the appeal? Thanks so much Lbock for your amazing work, really enjoying catching you on YouTube. You must be exhausted - you are greatly appreciated.
Every time I think AH (and her legal team) cannot sink lower I am wrong.
But I will just say one thing about some of the things going around atm - AH and her lawyers lie. If they have said something or listed some prescription drugs that Johnny supposedly takes, I would take that with a huge pinch of salt.

I've just read Houseinhabit's substack - it is behind a paywall but now you can see why her side are so desperately pushing pathetic attempts to smear JD.
It is horrific, worse that I think even we have imagined.
I cannot believe that this can be contained. I hope not, I hope the youtubers push this into the mainstream.

I think the media protects Amber because they backed the wrong horse and made themselves look like idiots, they will never concede their laziness in not investigating the truth.
If it were Johnny involved in attending sex parties and drugging people, the press would be having a field day.

The Substack material is now public, all over Twitter. Andy at Popcorn does a breaking news about it. It is truly unbelievable. There are pictures, blackmail, sex parties and trafficking of minors. If it's true, even a little, it's very scary.

Not sure I am allowed to post this
Amber bailed out of the Unite event to honor clsiming some emergency.
By Megan Riedlinger Wonderwall 9:38am PDT, Apr 08, 2017
. https://www.wonderwall.com/news/amber-h ... 10.article
The next day photos of her, Brandon and Cara were posted. She had pink hair and a bustier. So she left to die her hair (or maybe had a bad drug reaction)
My point, the outfits in the IG photos match the substack party photos
Amber bailed out of the Unite event to honor clsiming some emergency.
By Megan Riedlinger Wonderwall 9:38am PDT, Apr 08, 2017
"Our dear friend Amber unfortunately suffered a bit of an emergency earlier this evening and she had to go," iO first stated, before clarifying that the situation was very serious. "And I want to also say that I've never seen Amber nervous and I've known her quite intimately for a long time. And she's met pretty much everyone that you could be starstruck by. But Ayaan Hirsi Ali is as close to God as you could get for her, so to know that Ayaan was here and for her to have to leave anyway means that it was a very serious emergency. We both are hoping that she's okay."
iO and Cara also read from Amber's prepared speech, with iO reciting, "As an activist and human, as someone who is intrinsically allergic to justice, I am humbled and honored to be here tonight among so many dedicated world-changers and real life heroes. One of which is my hero, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who has so graciously donated her time and energy to present this award to me. Having you here tonight is a gift for which I will forever ill equip to adequately pay back."
Cara finished by noting, "So she wants to thank everyone here tonight for their dedicated pursuit of justice and concentrated efforts for making this world a better place."
During their time on stage iO also noted that Amber donated all of the money she gained in her 2016 divorce from Johnny Depp to the ACLU. Giving the proceeds to charity was something Amber promised to do while going through her public split, focusing particularly on two causes — ending violence against women and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
