I know this belongs on the Minamata thread but I, selfishly, wanted to reach as many as possible. And in an odd way, given the timing, perhaps this mention does belong here.

There IS something each of us, especially here in the US, can do over this weekend something that, I can’t help believing, would bring a smile to Johnny’s heart: At long last Minamata is available for rental and/or purchase on nearly every streaming service out there!!

We don’t have to plan, it couldn’t be easier, and the reward is beyond imagining! All the bits and pieces we’ve been teased with over the past year and a half are now where they belong. Sheer perfection. I don’t think there is a single review that even comes close to doing it justice.

Hopefully, this trial is going to come together just as well. All the myriad threads - some silk, some wool - are going to be woven into a an incontrovertible tapestry of the truth, the one truth, the only truth that has been out there all along for anyone and everyone to see, to appreciate, to believe. :heart2:

Sorry to rain the parade maybe, but do we have information about Zellner Law? I saw a gossip article that she may have resigned from Team Depp?
If true, I definetly walked right into that PR trap.

Lawyers cannot leave a case they have agreed to pursue without filing the papers with the court. The judge must give for permission for them to be dismissed. That being said, if this is true, it is possible they have not loaded anything up on their site yet. There is a certain "legendary journalist" paid for help assistant which nobody has every heard of, on her side spreading lies on social media.

It looks like one last ditch pathetic attempt on her part when there is evidence via e-mails the article was in fact written about him and we also have the "letters to her sisters" and a video done with an activist friend who no longer supports her.

:smh:  :dunce:

Just a word about CourtTV. I saw a panel today on the Wino Forever blog from the station talking about the trial. They know nothing of what's been going on and are parroting the AH subterfuge. I don't know if they comment during proceedings but just for what I saw today I would not watch that channel. Is there anyway we can correct what they are saying?

Thank you for the heads up, Scout. I remember feeling the same way about CourtTV almost from the get-go during the UK proceedings - they soft-pedaled their coverage in the beginning; practically over night they started indulging their true sentiments. So, I read all of the Nick Wallis court docs instead.

Don’t know if I have the stamina and/or fortitude to actually, this time, watch the proceedings live, BUT I would be grateful for the opportunity to have the option to do so knowing the feed is coming from a truly objective source.

Is there such an option? I am not on TWITTER or any other social media.

Can you suggest another way? Is anything going to be available here, on the ZONE?

The only ones I have heard of currently is "That Umbrella Guy" (Tug), Sec, Stevie J Raw and 2 others will be splitting the broadcast. They have not posted their schedule, but they will start Monday during trial selection. I think "Geek Some" is the one that starts it. I do know there are 3 different attorneys involved in the split schedule. If I hear anymore, I will post here for you to see.

Nick Wallis, who covered the UK trial, will also be in Virginia.

Thanks, Ladies, for the court-streaming suggestions.

Sure hope Johnny is keeping body and soul together and that he has close friends with him. I can’t even imagine the enormous stress he must be coping with right now. Lots of prayers being said here and positive energy being sent; hope Minamata is being watched by all! :heart2:

Tomorrow and maybe for the next few days are jury selections. I don't think it will be hard for them to pick a juror who has never heard of her but it isn't going to be easy to find one that knows nothing about JD, imo.

LegalBytes will have some YouTube coverage, not sure if she will stream live. Also on YouTube Wino Forever the Deppening will have some coverage and analysis after the day events.
