Was not she physically abused ?
Even Elon Musk mentioned that she is very prone to aggressive outbursts.
And didn't he finish the relationship twice ?
I read just both storry's in a magazine.

Why are we talking about something that happened TWO YEARS ago? I am just a wee bit startled by this one. When it is over, it is over. Leave it be.

Well, the best way to make something die is to ignore it, no? All of this stuff is just utter nonsense ginned up by the gutter press. Don't understand why we even tolerate it. Just a different perspective I guess.

Because having media publications use the words "Wife beater" to describe the star of your movie is concerning. This is a legal battle to protect his name, career and his coworkers, as JK Rowling was slandered in the same article. Shouldn't be surprising that he would also want to protect her reputation.

Well, then we don't agree. To me it only spreads media trash talk and doesn't help anyone. I think silence works best when it comes to media nonsense. But that is simply my perspective.

I can’t accurately quantify how much I detest that “person”. To think Johnny has been worried for the last three precious years - at least - about the very real possibility of being ruined by her! Honestly, I think it will be a long time before we start noticing any turn-around in the social media and tabloid across-the-board treatment of him. Worse, some seem so heavily invested in his demise I doubt they’ll ever be willing - or able - to let go.

“SCAM”? I believe so, right from the beginning.

Prior to Amber Johnny had been in other long term relationships and there had never been any suggestion that he was anything other than a loving and respectful partner. Yes, he was always something of a wild child and was open about enjoying a drink and other things but there’s a huge leap between that and abusing a woman. Amber has a lot to answer for and I fully support him in taking out a lawsuit against her. Her accusations are so serious they are for certain affecting his career and of course his reputation and he has every right to defend himself. That he is prepared to take this action seems to indicate that he has solid evidence against her that will stand up in court - it makes no sense for him to proceed without it.

Unfortunately for him this saga has coincided with the rise of the #metoo movement, that seems to promote the idea that all men are automatically guilty upon accusation with no leeway for them to defend themselves. I think it will be very hard for him to repair the damage she has done, but I wish him well on this road. He does have to take some responsibility for marrying her and being drawn in by her, I will never understand what he saw in her, she is nothing compared to Vanessa, or indeed Kate, Winona and his other partners.I still feel very sorry for Lily Rose and Jack for whom all this must have been so distressing.

I think he knows that we stand by his side and that gives him strength. Just like his really good friends (Marilyn Manson, Tommy and more) who help him! After the Vampires tour, I had the impression that he looked really good. He is on a good way , because he has people around him, who love him so much !!!

The Sun newspaper article also demeaned J K Rowling and the producers of Fantastic Beasts.
Even if you think Depp should never respond to insults to his own character, surely there comes a point where he should fight for other people who have supported him.
If rags like The Sun had moved on and not added new insults to Depp and others, Johnny probably would not have brought this back into public.

All those allegations did affect his reputation and his career, but I suppose it was also very hard for him as a private person.
He loved her and she knows how to play with men and is very manipulative. It was not only her but the death of his mother and surely the time she was ill must have been hard, and then TMG and all those other allegations, He must have been down. I am so glad he has the Vampires.

I know one is not suppose to ask this, when a woman seems to be the victim of abuse. But in this case I am asking it anyway!
If one take Amber Heard absolutely serious, then Johnny abused her even before they got married. Practically the whole time, they were together. So my questions are; why stay with him? And why marry him?
It's not like he had her chained to the stove either literally or figuratively. She was out and about all the time seeing her friends, working and so on. He was off working somewhere else too part of the time. So she could have left/escaped long before she did. She could have told her friends about the situation, and enlisted their help to get away. She could even have leaked the problem to the press before or during the marriage, if she liked.
Or just quietly moved away. And privately threatened Johnny with exposure, if he didn't leave her alone and agreed to a quick divorce. That would have my solution, if it was me. Johnny is a smart man. If he knew, he was guilty, he would have kept away from her, even if it galled him.
But she waited until he had said "No" to among other things paying for her lawyer or lawyers, so she could get divorced in style.

I have several other questions about the whole mess. But this is a rather important one, I think.

Meeps! Ridiculous that she claims to have been abused throughout the entirety of their relationship but married him anyway??!! Yet she's described herself as. rebellious, strong, has always lived the way she wanted to, carries a gun and sleeps with one beside her bed. She laughs about going trailer park on people when she's mad. As you wrote: No one was keeping her tied up in the basement. She was free to travel anywhere and do whatever struck her fancy, including embarrassing JD with tabloid photos and stories of PDAs with Io, Marie, Cara and many otbers. And her friends who also say they witnessed him abusing her for years: I guess using JD's connections, using the bathroom of his private jet and living in his guesthouse and luxury condos, etc., was more important to them than helping their girlfriend get out of situations where she was suffocated, bloodied and feared for her life? Not buying it, never did.

Can anyone shed any light on this business which is all over twitter which says that SHE admitted the punching him twice in the face - people are tweeting part of a document, but I don't quite understand what it is.
