Fairfaix just posted an update on reschedules per COVID-19. Johnny's case is in so far
Maybe I am reading this wrong but doesn't this say any trials on the calendar to be heard have to be two days?

Unbelievable - the Sun is the only paper to describe yesterday's hearing as a set back for JD. If it was a jury trial I believe they wouldn't be allowed to comment but even so .........

So it seems the Judge doesn't care that Amber disrespected everyone. He is focusing on her credibility and it won't be good for her I wonder if she is so eager now to testify.
I can see why her lying is a very important point to stress, but I hope he also allows Johnny's team to show/stress how disrespectful she very often is. Abusing people are after all the ultimate disrespect ...

The judge doesn't seem to think her attitude towards people is relevant to the case at hand but at least he gets to see the kind of person she really is when she doesn't get what she wants. I wonder if Savannah McMillen ever gave a statement or why she isn't being called as a witness. She spent a lot of time with Amber and right after that letter about her employment was released she wasn't seen with Amber anymore and her IG was changed to say she is a photographer and producer.

I have to give heartfelt thanks to all those who are providing documents as well as insights as Johnny's case moves forward. I truly am grateful for your dedication, hard work and knowledge which is shared so generously with all of us who care about this matter. Thank you AdeleAgain, LBock, MaryS (welcome aboard), and everyone who adds information.

I have to say I am breathless in reading all this material. But one document in particular caused my blood to go cold. That is the "extortion letter." I had not seen it previously. I was stopped in my tracks, even more so than hearing the phone tapes. She was indeed setting him up...all along. My God, it is like a plot to a movie thriller. I am waiting for her to say there's a dead body buried somewhere. People, this is real evil at play and Johnny was so close to it as to make it terrifying. She wished him real harm. And it maybe would have worked but for the genuine goodness that is in Johnny and which surrounds him, including all those who are advocating for him expecting nothing in return. AH knows nothing of that kind of world and certainly underestimates what the forces of good can accomplish.

Is there access to the UK filings where Johnny initially charges the manipulation and fantazises (spelling?). Not sure if those are public.

Again, thank you.

BAD NEWS
Fairfax County just rescheduled Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard citing COVID-19 and LA Courts being closed.
January 11, 2021
I speculate they could not schedule and complete all the depositions in time for the August trial and with the courts closed, they also can't file "motion to compel" for people to sit for them (Adam stated on Twitter that Elon was avoiding service, let alone avoiding to sit)

The notice did say that "No jury trials will occur until further notice."

Yes I saw that, but his trial was still on the docket. June-July had to be rescheduled. Oh well. It was to be expected. Discovery is supposed to be completed 30 days in advance. No way they'd get that done by July 3.

Found it. Here is the schedule that has to be followed in Virginia. All dates reset to new court date of Jan 11, 2021. But her answer is still due 21 days from when court is back in session. I'm lost on that date at this point.

I believe her answer is still due on track. The trial is pushed back, but they are still operating.

Yeah, many depositions to be sat, the US trial had to be moved to a later date.

But January 2021 is not to far away from August 2020 so it's not too bad.

I am pleasantly surprised.

There was a DC fanboy at comicbook who made a joke a long time ago for Heard as Batgirl.
Hahaha. That's not going to happen.
After Heard loses the UK court case, she won't even be Mera.

I agree, I have just lost track of when to count the 21 days from.

Frankly, Kaplan can file it electronically. I don't get why it was even pushed back in the first place. Maybe Adam Waldman will shed some light on this.

Whitney must have either given a deposition or made a statement because Amber's lawyer references Kate James statement that she saw Amber many times dressing and undressing for fittings and that she was with her almost every day contradicts the evidence "Amber and her sister" gave. I'm not sure but I believe the time to submit any additional witness statements is over.
So according to Amber's lawyer, Whitney's version of events supports Amber's version of events.
I had a slight hope that Whitney would decide to tell the truth and not risk a perjury charge. Seems that is not happening.
I wonder why Whitney has not been submitted as a witness previously. Does Amber think that Whitney won't be able to keep to Amber's version when cross examined?
