The fights were happening even before they were married and he knew they were going to continue but he hoped they would "curb" a little bit. We know he had an abusive childhood so this kind of life was not new to him but as a kid he couldn't walk away or remove himself from the situation. Amber makes it sound like a bad thing when he would leave to avoid the fight escalating and another bad thing when he wouldn't come back to make peace when she was the one who started the fights. She even went so far as to kick him out of the bedroom because she THOUGHT he was going to leave. Punching him in the face, kicking and spitting at him, throwing his cell phone and wallet out the window, yelling and screaming all the time ...something is mentally wrong with her.

Well, I am thinking media coverage is increasing. I just found this from USA Today:

I am at a loss for words. This is why I have not commented yet. I found this tremendously upsetting. It caused me lots of tears and triggered me often into memories.

Dear Johnny, God Bless you and comfort you in sadly, becoming one of us Survivors!!

It broke my heart listening to Johnny's calming voice ask for a stop to the violence that he was being subjected to...
I am happy that this was released. People can finally hear her, in her own words, admit to abusing and being violent with Johnny! She admitted that she just loses it and that she cannot guarantee that she will not get violent again! She truly sounds out of control! I am incredibly happy that she is out of Johnny's personal life!! I am thankful that Johnny can now heal his heart!

I am also quite angry that this will probably make it more difficult for victims, both male and female, to be heard and believed!! She and many others actually believe that she speaks for victim's rights!! Many victims will now fall between the cracks!! I hope she is quickly removed from the ACLU, ME TOO, and, not to mention, Aquaman and L'Oreal ads!!

I have always believed in Johnny, but I am glad that so many can now see proof of the truth, Johnny's Truth!!

Bless Us All!! :namaste:
:agreesign: Moonbeam :heartflower: Thank you so much !!!
Thanks to all Deppheads, who have been with Johnny all these years and always believed him :myheart:

After reading the latest articles, I’m pretty sure these audio files are part of The Sun trial and UK Depp team leaked them to DM. Might be why none of her lawyers commented by name. And they shouldn’t get in trouble from judge as it’s not part of the Fairfax trial. These should carry over though

Well, I guess the old adage, “Be careful what you wish for . . .”, is raising its ugly head. The mainstream media has been silent for so long it doesn’t know or care what may be true and what is a rehash of long-debunked, salacious storytelling from AH.

The Mirror’s entry into the catch-up race includes one of AH’s most disgraceful “accounts” from her 300-page rebuttal to JD’s initial defamation filing. The USA Today article has just been updated to replace an old comment from Eric George (I kid you not), in the earlier edition, with Kaplan’s latest ranting and newly spun defense for her client as she arrogantly tries to tell us what we’re hearing: she was only reacting in self-defense to JD’s violent attacks. Pathetic. Some good words from Mr. Waldman.

I am convinced the audio tapes will have to be played, uninterrupted, during the trial, timeframes be damned. Nothing - no revelation, no story, no coverage - nothing raked in the “OMGs!”, and finally opened “The People’s” hearts and minds to the truth, like listening to those spoken words directly from from their owners on those recordings. All Kaplan’s wheel-spinning lies were ground to a halt; people are hearing her, now, trying desperately to twist Johnny’s and AH’s words but are not listening anymore.

It certainly would be reassuring to read just one, well-written, thoroughly researched, accurately referenced, timely and unbiased article from one of the mainstream media big guns about where we are now in this lawsuit. I won’t hold my breath . . .

Thank you, Lbock, for the long-awaited date for JD vs The Sun: March 23rd!

I love how these people talk about the pictures Amber has but they never mention that NONE of them have a date and time stamp including the fake bruise she sold to the media but Johnny's pictures all have date and time stamps to support his claims.

Some news outlets are picking up on it, yes
But one such, called New York Daily News, write, that Ms Heard is "allegedly implicated" by the tape.
"Allegedly" means, they don't quite believe it themselves, right  ?

And 'implicated' to me sounds like there was more than one person screaming, and hitting, and throwing things at him, and that she was just sorta giving a hand - maybe coming up with suggestions, encouraging them to do more, or handing them the frying pan to throw ...
But that might just be me not understanding the English language fully :)

It means that they didn't actually listen to the tape and are picking up with other news outlets reported.

BINGO! That’s exactly what it means, ForeverYoung. And so the mainstream media bias against JD continues, with barely a hiccup in intensity.

All of which means, if there is a trial, those tapes have to be played in the courtroom, in entirety - no time limits - for the jury to hear for themselves. They need to hear AH screeching at Johnny, admitting multiple physical assaults on him, demanding he not “split” when their arguments are too rapidly morphing into physical violence (ie: stay and fight), over-talking him repeatedly, changing direction on a dime, insulting him and berating him on every level imaginable, on and on. They need to hear those voices, not just read words in a transcript.

It was only after the general public listened to the recordings themselves that the masses around the world started to wake up and understand the truth behind the call for “Justice for Johnny Depp”.

Shame on the newspaper, then! They couldn't give up an hour of their precious time to sit down and listen ... :censored:

Nope and given the fact than 60 is a long time for some people, there is always something to do while listening. I sorted my mail, laundry, paid my bills, etc. while I listened but at least I took the time to listen because it is really important to hear her admit to the abuse and how she tried to manipulate him..even giving him Xanax when she was the one who sounded like she needed it, not him. She mocked him, called him a coward and a brat for leaving the fights and refused to discuss the assaults. Instead all she wanted to focus on was him leaving before things got out of control.

Hi all,

Quick intro - I’ve reading along here off and on the past few years after being active many years ago :girlwave:

i thought this take from a couples therapist is interesting. Basically he is saying Amber shows traits of a ‘preoccupied’, pursuer personality disorder, controlling her partner and freaking out whenever he leaves, and Johnny showing more of an avoidant personality, which is also a very normal reaction in this situation.

He also calls out several classic abuser flags on Ambers behaviour. Especially interesting from 1:08:43, 1:13:00 and als 1:15:00 - the Xanax part.

I don't agree with it all (I believe the “pop his wife” was no more than a figure of speech) but it is an interesting read.

Also, Doug Stanhope seems happy
