So these apparently are the cherry picked texts AH presented in UK. I mean even her cherry picked evidence leaves you saying .... what .....?

She paints a picture of JD to everyone else of someone out of control, yet as I said earlier - Drs Cowan and Kipper and various nurses did not see the need to place her in safety.

When people push her with questions like "sounds terrible, let me come over" or "let me call J to speak to him" - she always stops them. Now why could that be? Because he is not quite as she described?

Re Tracey’s video of her deposition from Depp vs TMG. Elaine will attempt to use portions of the old video deposition to incorporate into the video witness testimony for the jury to see. Depp will of course oppose this and it will be decided at Limine motions.

A motion in limine can also be used to get a ruling to allow for the inclusion of evidence. The motion is decided by a judge in both civil and criminal proceedings.

They will be doing a motion for each video deposition/testimony on what portions the judge will allow the jury to see/hear.

I thoroughly agree. But it goes a little deeper imo. The surrogate didn't "conceive". She was implanted with an embryo (frozen or not) as part of a scheduled medical procedure. The eggs would have had to have been harvested some time before, the fertilisation done and the embryo either frozen for later or used. Even if using the Musk embryos, the timing of the implantation was planned, and the court dates make it implausible to be anything other than strategic.

Although I think the Musk embryos were probably destroyed, another scenario is also possible. She got an embryo. But to ensure she couldn't use it against him, he could have also got an embryo to cancel out her advantage over him. Grimes inferred she conceived naturally ("it felt weird having sex without a condom"), but did not state it explicitly. He may have contracted Grimes as surrogate or he could still have it on ice.

I think he is trolling us (Depp supporters) with his son's name, but it may also be legitimate.

I also agree with others here that having outsourced the conception, the pregnancy, the birth process, the weight gain, the recovery period, the risk of post-partum depression and other hormonal changes, I am not surprised that she would also outsource wet-nursing and all those other messy tasks. And she has past history having others clean up her messes (poo phobia and all that). She has been absent for all the duties and responsibilities so far, she will be the classic absentee parent.

She's like someone that got a covid puppy then had it put down when the lockdowns got lifted. I pity the poor child. She's just another Ronald Biggs.

My contempt for this woman has increased, which I had not previously thought possible. This whole baby business strikes me as just that, business. She is imo, quite literally a human traffiker.

I’m seeing this allot on Twitter—I believe there is zero chance she is going to jail. They are no criminal charges pending anywhere. And perjury will probably just be a fine (vs the maximum of jail).

But going back a step, and at my most cynical, what do we really know? AH has announced she is a mother (and she never, ever lies). There is a still photo of a "child". It could be a prop, CGI or borrowed for the photo-op. Is there an actual child?

And is it hers? Without DNA, we just don't know. Was the father a fully informed, consensual donor? Or was he coercively controlled (and I'm thinking surrendering an embryo under a court order is pretty coercive)? Or was he selected from an A-list catalogue with the donor unaware of the recipient's intent or end game? Was gender selection applied and all male embryos killed (because they were male)?

Lbock, I agree re the risk she will never see jail time, but I don't think this is over by a long way. Just as the UK trial has raised issues with Immigration and BioSecurity in Australia, each item revealed in discovery is being watched by numerous parties in numerous jurisdictions. And they will not kill the goose until it's finished laying. There may not be open cases, but there will be open files. The LAPD must be watching everything she does (that comes into their domain). If the hoax is supported by the VA courts, that represents a $500K fraud that the FBI will be forced to investigate, along with the slew of other charges related to perpetrating the crime.

VA is a defamation trial. Any criminal investigations won't start until after a verdict (imo, IANAL).

She may yet wriggle out of this, but I think she has much to be worried about.

Thank you LBock and Inquiring Minds. I did not stop and think about "other" repercussions. With things coming to light, (the truth) WB, AQ2 and L'oréal I was hoping they would have woke up and there would have been some consequences. This is such a cluster. JD has never deserved this. AH's pic should be in the Webster dictionary for the word evil.

It is entirely possible that the embryo was implanted in USA after return from UK court. 10% of babies are born before 37 weeks gestation plus 80% of IVF babies are born before 37 weeks gestation. (Usual calculations expect 40 weeks).
I have wondered what Amber expected to be the outcome of the UK case. With hindsight, I think The Sun & NGN knew Justice Nicol's connections and biases so therefore might have been confident. I don't think NGN would have said anything about this to Amber. The look on Elaine's face outside court looked to me as if she thought it had not gone well.
I don't understand Amber's thinking so I can't get my head around whether the baby existence was affected by her expectations of
the outcome of UK trial.

I think Elaine was taken back by the support of the JD fans. Elaine grossly under estimated what she was in for when she chose to represent that woman. The ex said she decided four years ago she wanted a baby but waited until now when her lies have been exposed and she is the most hated woman in Hollywood. In addition, she promised money to charities which they never received. She needed something to try and clean up her image but the only people who are not reporting this is the media and we all know she has friends with connections.

Just my guess, but no way the Sun would have trusted AH with their plans for the case. She was so reluctant to take part and then suddenly changed - I think the Sun lawyers gave her an absolute reassurance that they had this, despite JD's evidence and strong armed her to take part.

Regarding the Sun's confidence in winning? I've mentioned before I have a number of ex-journalist friends. When the phone hacking scandal took place those friends knew very well the evidence against the News of the World and expected the editor and others to go to prison. Yet they got off scott free. Funny - how did that happen.

The beginning of the Sun case was being heard under Judge Nicklin. She was adamant she wanted no part unless the entire NDA was abolished

At some point Judge Nichol replaced judge Nicklin and Amber couldn’t sing loud enough.

Intent to use Private info at Hearing. So the protective order was updated June 21. I am assuming she requested to file the confidential abuse (as in UK) in the USA court. It would not be confidential under the current protective order. My guess is that is what she is referring to - which she intends to bring up at the July 22 public hearing

Thanks so much Lbock - have only skimmed the main document. Doesn't answer the fundamental point that AH was not a party in UK and there is no case law.
