And it was reported they have to pay him in full. And that he is making more than Eddie and Jude. So guessing $15-20M

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Fairfax today uploaded confirmation of three subpoeans have been delivered:
Tasya, IO & Raquel. Interestingly they were all submitted to Anya Goldstein. All her witnesses are represented by her and Josh Admited in his Fairfax Deposition that Amber was paying for his legal fees.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Will deposing Tasya help I wonder - she is likely to just say AH was wonderful and caring and told her how abusive JD was .......
I suppose they have to pick holes in her story - and with her may come texts between AH and Tasya. The person I'd like to see deposed is the police woman who arrested AH. I know Johnny's side is trying to get the paper work around the arrest - might help if the paper work and police women ram home the message that AH was actually violent.
And perhaps and American jury might understand that means something!
You know it is so unbelievable about the judge dismissing the police testimony - no British judge would EVER do the same to a UK police officer. It is absolutely outrageous and must surely be brought up in the appeal request.
Even if the appeal request is refused, if we all get to see the legal arguments it will at least help what is a very public campaign on JD's side.

Three quarters of a million people have signed the A2 petition.
Warner Bros suddenly remembering why they were paying JD twenty million dollars!

I am starting wonder if FB3 was getting nervous about his case against the ex getting in the way of filming so they took the coward's way out.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Why refer to the film? Refer to Toby Emmerich or the studio if you must. The cast and crew have nothing to do with this. When you are aware of what Emmerich did in the Ray Fisher situation, you’ll understand the guy is a pure villain.

Any news about Musk and Franco doing their depositions, or has Johnny's side given up on getting those two to do the right thing?

Can I just say how much I admire Paul Bettany? He took the stand to defend Johnny no matter what repercussions.

Paul didn't give any testimony, witness statements or declarations. He tweeted in favor of Johnny back in 2016. But silence since.hollyberry wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 9:45 amCan I just say how much I admire Paul Bettany? He took the stand to defend Johnny no matter what repercussions.

Before this goes into possible bashing territory, I'd just like to point out that not everyone is at liberty to speak up or do the things you expect them to do to support Johnny.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
He was certainly subpoenaed, not sure if he sat for his deposition with all of the COVID disruptions.
For London - he wouldn't have been called because what could he say? There was never any suggestion he witnessed anything. So why call him? Johnny could call on literally hundreds of people who could give him a good character reference and all say he is a wonderful guy, who probably kicks some concrete when frustrated and does nothing more than hurt his own foot - he would never hit a woman. Paul may appear in the VA case where the issues are slightly different and wider - although I am not sure what he can really add except to say of course the text messages were just a bit of venting.
Although it is hard for all of us - probably public silence is the best thing right now - just let the lawyers address the injustice. The people have already risen up for him.
Johnny has got a lot of witnesses who actually witnessed things. Sounds like Paul couldn't stand AH so probably spent zero time with her.
This must be incredibly hard for JD this week, to have to go through all of this again having suffered such an injustice. He will presumably at least see Adam even if he can't be there (or can he be there in a personal capacity at the deposition - don't see why not).
There may be press - is she going to turn up with a Cheshire Cat grin and watch?
I sense people may be feeling a bit flat today, just over a week on and after such a high energy fight back for JD, so I thought maybe I could share a few thoughts which are keeping me either going or topped up:
- When JD's London lawyers file their appeal there will be some good material and legal arguments for the social media champions to sink their teeth into. We might yet galvanise that petition even further up (nearly 815,000 at the moment) and attract even more followers for Johnny;
- Everyone send good thoughts for JD's US team for early December (please correct me if I am wrong Lbock) - that's the hearing which includes getting the facts out about the donations. The judge may actually have done us a favour here: he said the fact that she donated demonstrates she cannot be a gold digger - JD contests that and says it is part of the hoax therefore pertinent to provide proof;
- Crock of Gold is out this week? We should blow up those reviews.
Entirely separately, does anyone know anything about monitoring instagram followers - I've seen screen shots on Twitter which shows people gaining/losing. I am curious about her followers which have stayed at 3.9 million for such a long time - I am curious if she has gained or lost any (also would like to watch JD's). Anyone know how to do this?

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Sorry I also meant to share this - on the issue of conflict of interest with the judge's son working for a Murdoch company.
Obviously this is not on the same level and I have no idea what the actual rules are but in the UK our lower courts are called Magistrates courts. Magistrates are part time and are not professional judges/lawyers but are drawn from all different walks of life. All criminal and some other cases start off in a magistrates court - small or uncontested matters are dealt with there, otherwise passed onto a higher court.
My father is a serving magistrate. When I was a student I had a summer holiday job as a waitress in a restaurant. Someone else who worked at that restaurant was a witness (I believe witness, not defendant) in a case which came before my dad. When he heard the name of the restaurant he recused himself because he had a connection to the case. He told me magistrates were given very clear guidelines.
I just offer it up as illustrative - surely if rules apply to the lowest courts, there must be some relevance to higher courts and judges?
I am just madly curious as to what the basis for the appeal will be.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
The hours keep coming. Johnny’s been ordered to pay Elaine $22k in legal fees for not attending deposition
Judge must have been really pissed he went to those events

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Sorry Lbock is this from before when he was in Europe? Not related to today's proceedings? I thought Johnny was charged a lower amount - sorry I am confused.
I hope it hasn't put the judge's back up too much but I guess that going to those events was worth a great deal more than $22,000.
