A great big hand for Deborah Handover!! Thank You!! That was beautifully written, made more so by the words of so many people coming together in a single cause, Justice For Johnny Depp! I also read her previous article, as she suggested, and found it just as well researched and eloquent.
What AH just does not get is just how massive Johnny's fan and admirer group is...just how many people, not bots, love Johnny for who he is and his huge, genius body of work.
I liked the way DH grouped the twitter posts, such as DV related. That one struck a chord with me, because I totally understood how betrayed many of them felt with her being "their spokesperson'. She Definitely Doesn't Speak For Me and neither does the complicit MeToo movement!!

You know what I also take away from this article as being extremely encouraging, Moonbeam? The growing number of people - not just JD supporters - who are so appreciative of Johnny for standing his ground as a horrifically, physically and emotionally, abused man.

At long last, people are starting to really understand two critically important things: 1) the enormous, unabating courage and perseverance it has taken - and continues to take - on Johnny’s part to keep moving forward with his claims, trusting his truth to the complexities and, ultimately, humanity of the Courts, and 2) what feminism’s notion of equality in an abusive relationship really means when it justly can be applied to domestically abused men as well as women.

He is my hero.

Very good article, but in addition I believe there was and is a core group of fans that have followed him for years and during that time have experienced his kindness repeatedly. If you came here originally because you were attracted to a beautiful actor, you stayed because the man's heart was always open to his fans in a manner that is simply extraordinary. You stayed because of the many gifts he gave you -- books you never would have read unless he lead the way, writers that you found because of him, music and art you discovered, all the new and wonderful things that came to you because of of his capacity to share.

Can we say anything less? It is and has always been this profound connection to a human being who truly touches the soul and expands a person. And I think that we, his long time fan base, have over the years, and particularly since 2016, been able to communicate this to people who came looking. We are ambassadors. We are an extraordinarily articulate and persistent group.

But have one more thing to add that Johnny has given his not so perfect fans like myself: the knowledge that it's OK to be different, and that one is still worth something - like love and consideration - even when one doesn't fit precisely into society's sometimes narrow boxes

That's how it is, the books and the music, his way of approaching people. That's why I'm grateful to J.D. Through him I got to know all this wonderful thing, it's such a great gift. He is a great artist and sincere person whom I adore and love very much.

She really has burned bridges with both sides! Adam has been shown to have been polite and kind - yesterday his message talked about being sensitive over the things she didn't wish to discuss. Today what looks like a text from Laura hoping AH burns in hell. And all the while, the press ignores the fact that AH illegally taped her friend, interfered with a witness, and then the Sun's US lawyer tried to heavy hand that witness. But right, Adam is the villain in this!

I remember the days when a piece of evidence like this would send me on a high for days, now I am like - yep - more evidence showing JD to be the good guy and AH and the Sun to be the bad ones.

I absolutely agree with that beautifully written statement, fireflydances! I apologize for chopping it up.
I also wanted to add a few 'Depp gifts' like other entertainers, his endearing sense of fun, and making us Laugh, Think and FEEL!
I wanted to repeat the whole thing, but didn't want to take up so much space....too late!

AH has filed her opposition to Johnnys request for continuence. No mention at all of her counterclaim nor the many motions she has pending in California two of which are to be heard in February after the trial date

She has included that she was told many months ago that Aquaman 2 would begin filming in Spring 2021 lol. So I think she’s opened the door for the judge to ask for proof of that so he can consider a new court date to work around both productions. (Just an opinion)

AH's demands have become increasingly more outrageous to the point of wanting to know where Johnny is every moment of the day, who he sees, time and place, schedules of filming, and on and on. Who does that? This goes well beyond an objection to the continuance, in my opinion. There's an unhealthy obsession rearing its ugly head with every move she makes, revealing narcissistic vengeance.
Surely the judge will see that her demands are brazenly excessive. By her own doing, will illustrate the desperation and frenzied actions taken and how her lawyers amateurishly give in to her demands.

I would think that the "requests" made concerning WB, would be nothing short of fatal for AH. IF - WB has not decided on whether or not AH will assume her role has Mera - AH has just shot herself in the foot.
She is NO LONGER LEGALLY MARRIED to him. His work life and personal affairs is NONE OF HER BUSINESS.
Next she will want to know how much he is being paid, copy of the script to see how much time he has in front of the camera.
Can we now assume she will want docs concerning how many visits to the mens' room and how much toilet paper he uses?
Can't they put a stop to this foolishness?
A PRO or something? AH wishes to be the fool, power to her. JD on the other hand, has suffered enough.
