Also. I'm just mid way through the transcript. So the judge has ruled against JD income statements. But he will allow Ed White to make a witness statement and include how the settlement came to be if both sides agree to release a confidential claim of some sort, I think.

But I think it could work in JD favor if it is true she wracked up in incredible debt in such a short period of their marriage - he said many more millions than the $7M settlement. (I assume that to be credit cards, but could be JD paid for private planes and trips with her friends, without him), wonder what else it could be. Her financial was 10K a month dining out, entertainment, idk

Interesting, Amber Heard's closest friend and hoax participant only mentions doing "emotional damage control" and no mention of caring for or about any physical injuries Amber has claimed occurred from December 15 incident
"Hey girl"?
5A. Yes.
6Q. Rock, I suggest, says: "Hey girl, so sorry, Amber had a s**t
7 day yesterday and we were doing some emotional damage control,
8 I'll call you later." And it is replied to by somebody called
9 Carly Koo(?)?

Johnny Depp hugs fan who gave him flowers outside court after day six of libel trial

mirror.co.uk
Article by Brogan-Leigh Hurt
14th July 2020

Johnny Depp was papped hugging a fan who handed him flowers as the sixth day of his Amber Heard libel trial came to an end.

The Pirates of the Carribean actor, 57, flouted social distancing rules as he leaned in for a cuddle with the female fan outside of the London court.

He was seen smiling after receiving the stunning bouquet of white flowers as the pair talked outside, seemingly ignoring coronavirus restrictions.

The actor grinned as he took the flowers to his car and waved to fans and photographers who were surrounding him.

Some shocking revelations were made in court on Tuesday during the sixth day of his libel trial.

The actor is suing News Group Newspapers over an article that appeared in The Sun in 2018 in which he was called a "wife beater", which he strenuously denies.

Depp insists he was never abusive to his wife Amber Heard and has said she was the abusive one in their marriage, which she has denied.

Heard was accused of putting out a cigarette in his face and throwing a vodka bottle in one of their fights, the court heard today.

The court also heard testimony from Depp's housekeeper and saw grim pictures of the infamous poo that was left in the former couple's bed in 2016.

Depp has said the poo was the reason he decided to end his marriage to Heard.

He believes it was left by Heard or one of her friends, but she said it was their dogs.

Vargas claimed in her witness statement that just over a month after she found the poo Heard became angry with her when she found out about the pictures.

She said: "Ms Heard told me that the pictures I had taken of the faeces had destroyed her marriage

"I was very nervous and so I apologised, even though I did not believe that their marital problems were my fault or that I had done anything wrong.

"I also told Ms Heard that the faeces were there, that there was nothing I could do.

"Ms Heard argued with me saying that there were no faeces in the bed."

Depp's housekeeper claimed the poo was too large to have been left by the dogs.

The court also heard Depp's bodyguard Malcolm Connolly claim Heard severed the actor's finger during a row in March 2015.

Speaking about the gruesome details of the alleged attack, he said: "I had the car door open and when we were outside Johnny said to me words to the effect of, 'Look at my finger. She's cut my f**king finger off. She's smashed my hand with a vodka bottle.'

"I saw his finger and it was a mess. He also told us that she had put a cigarette out on his cheek. I could see the mark on his face."

Depp has also accused his ex-wife of "attacking or abusing him verbally and physically", with Heard denying all allegations against her.

Just some thoughts.
I believe it was Stephen Deuters who said he had gotten a text from AH using Johnny's phone, saying something like, This is AH, and I always get what I want... (I believe she was requesting drugs.)
That made me crazy angry. The AUDACITY!! Well, we shall see about that!!

I really cannot wait to see her take the stand. Johnny was calm, collected, and courteous. I don't think that AH is capable of that. If she gets told, like Johnny did, over and over, that she is lying; I predict that she will lose it!!
She is supposed to begin on Friday, unless it is delayed.

Oh yes, a narcissist will always believe they'll get what they want, so no surprise she'd let someone know that in bold terms.
I am still waking up, so pardon my foggy brain. But, I think it is along the same lines as telling Ms. Vargas that there was no poo on the bed, and getting angry that she took pictures of it and confronting her. Yeah, the mentality, "I get away with whatever I want!!", there, as well.
I hope her time on the stand is NOT delayed!
He said, "Wow, Very Nice!", and signed my painting. TIFF 2015.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard: Couple rowed 'like schoolchildren', says ex-employee

bbc.co.uk
15th July 2020

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard argued "like schoolchildren", his former estate manager has claimed.

Ben King told London's High Court that their rows started from "banal beginnings" and escalated.

Mr Depp, 57, is suing the publisher of the Sun over an article that referred to him as a "wife beater" - but the newspaper maintains it was accurate.

He denies 14 domestic violence allegations which News Group Newspapers is relying on for its defence.

Mr King worked for Mr Depp for three separate periods between 2014 and 2016, in Australia, London and Vancouver, Canada.

In witness statements, Mr King said he "frequently witnessed" Ms Heard, 34, "goading and attempting to provoke" Mr Depp, who he never saw "be violent or unkind towards Ms Heard, or indeed towards anyone else".

He said: "Of what I heard of their arguments, they could start from very banal beginnings.

"On one occasion in London, I recall Ms Heard complained that Mr Depp had removed his hand from hers, and she complained along the lines of 'maybe you don't love me'."

Mr King continued: "The argument then carried on and escalated seriously. The way they argued could make them seem like schoolchildren."

Reflecting on periods in London and Australia, he said he "saw Ms Heard as the antagoniser" while Mr Depp "seemed keen to walk out of, or away from, arguments".

"I want to make clear that I did not see any violence at any time. I do not want to accuse Ms Heard of anything, but this was what I saw of the pattern of their arguments," he said.

Mr King also claimed that on a number of occasions, Mr Depp "left notes downstairs before he went to work, saying things like 'let's not do this again' and 'I love you'."

He also spoke about the couple's trip to Australia in March 2015, during which it is alleged Mr Depp assaulted Ms Heard and "completely destroyed" a house in a drink and drug-fuelled rage, which the actor denies.

Mr Depp alleges his finger was severed by Ms Heard throwing a vodka bottle at him, which she denies.

Mr King said he was summoned to the house the couple were renting, where he found a "significant amount of damage" and discovered Mr Depp's severed finger tip on the floor.

He said that on the flight back to Los Angeles from Australia with Ms Heard, she asked him "have you ever been so angry with someone that you just lost it?"

He said: "I replied that that had never happened to me. She seemed incredulous and asked again, 'you have never been so angry with someone that you just lost it?'

"Again, I answered that I had not and Ms Heard did not continue on this topic. This question seemed alarming to me, given the severity of the damage I had earlier witnessed at the house and the apparent serious injury to Mr Depp's finger."

Mr King also said Mr Depp was teetotal when he interviewed for the job and he was "surprised" when the couple brought "a relatively large number of cases of wine" to a house in London.

He also said that during their London stay in October 2014, he did not see Mr Depp drink, but he believed Ms Heard "would regularly drink at least one or two bottles a night".

Mr Depp's ex-fiancee Winona Ryder is set to appear at the High Court via video link later to give evidence in support of his case.

The case arose out of the publication of an article on the Sun's website headlined: "Gone Potty: How can JK Rowling be 'genuinely happy' casting wife beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?".

The Sun's original article related to allegations made by the actress, who was married to the film star from 2015 to 2017.

Mr Depp's former partner Vanessa Paradis is also expected to give evidence via video link during the hearing, which is expected to last for three weeks.

To be fair, the "I always get what I want" could also be said in a playful way. I know a few people in my life who would say something like that to be cheeky. But of course, since it is Amber saying it, we take it in a different context.

I wouldn't mind if the schedule was delayed by a day (not having Winona today). That would mean Amber has Monday through Wednesday to testify without a 2 day break to rethink her strategy.

Edit - from Nick's Twitter:

DS: why did you take exception to what AH said in her 5th witness statement
KJ: because she took a story about ME being violently raped in Brazil 26 years ago and she twisted it into her own story and she used it for her own use.

Kate James, Amber's former personal assistant, says Amber took Kate's experience as a rape victim as inspiration for her own allegations. This is a serious accusation, I had not heard it before. Did I miss something or is this new information? Ms James also got angry at the Sun's attorney just before that, she seems to give a very passionate testimony. I wish Mr. Sherborne had asked her to elaborate on the "twisting my story" part, even though it must be terribly painful to relive those memories, this is absolutely shocking to hear. I'm surprised I can still be shocked at this point, but here you go.

Yes, absolutely. I wonder if Amber will now change her Witness Statement again?

Here's what Nick quoted from Kate James' Witness Statement regarding the new allegations, I expect it will be online as a PDF file soon:

I tried to put it as a spoiler because of the SA triggers, not sure if I did it right or if it's necessary, just trying to be mindful of everyone reading on here.

Thank you FlowerByTheSea for using the spoiler function, as I am also a Survivor. It gave me the choice to read it, which I did. It was very difficult to read.
I find that AH antic to be Outright Self-Serving and Despicable, to use another's distraught and terrifying experiences as one's own, especially amid this hoax against Johnny.
I expect this to play a part in the behind closed doors testimony that AH has requested, because it is in her 5th witness statement.

Yes, it was pushed back, she's expected to testify tomorrow. They're running behind schedule. I'm actually not sure if Winona is scheduled for tomorrow, but Vanessa should be, according to today's transcript: "I have to have a think overnight about rescheduling, but at the moment we have Mr. Bett and Ms. Paradis in the morning." (this is Mr. Sherborne addressing the judge)
