Getting ready for work. Will be back with a better update. But it’s confirmed AH is suing TMG (in Los Angeles) to compel them to honor the discovery subpoena filed as an unlimited case asking more than $25k in damages. I imagine TMG will cave unless they are being investigated by the feds and can leverage that somehow to avoid this

Amber has subpoenaed Jerry Bruckheimer, asking for documents and communications related to any alcohol/drugs Johnny may have consumed, any violence he was involved in (even if he did not commit it), Amber Heard, statements by Stuart Beatty and the big mouth Disney studio jerk Sean Bailey concerning rebooting the POTC franchise, the box office for DMTNT, and Johnny's participation in the series going forward, plus a lot of other similar things.

I am sure this will endear her to Hollywood producers and studios everywhere (NOT).

Johnny's team filed a motion that was granted to move the hearing about bifurcation from Nov to December 5th. ( It looks like they requested the 15th, but that's a Sunday).

So Kaplan of Metoo/Timesup is going after Jerry and Disney (subpoenaed production records in August). If they don’t help I’m sure she’s ready to blast them in today’s women in power environment covering and protected a Johnny

I always felt she took a direct swipe at them and a threat in her OpEd. She more or less saying they didn’t care for Johnny but $$ speak first

I think this is smug projection on her part. She's the one who hates him. JD may have been less than perfect at times during the long shoots for these 5 films, the last 2 of which had terrible scripts IMHO. I imagine Jerry and Iger are both still fond of JD and, being industry veterans, appreciate his skills, longevity and the billions he helped bring Disney through his portrayal of Jack Sparrow. Kevin McNalley admires JD, and recently Keira Knightly, Marty Klebba and Lee Arenberg (I think) all said they couldn't imagine a successful POTC film without Jack Sparrow/JD. Jerry Bruckheimer said the same in 2017. ( A little concerning that JD's old lawyer, Marty Singer, is Jerry's attorney, though.)

Poopy's picture of the ships balanced on her shoulders only hurts her defamation case. While box office wasn't as high for the 5th sequel (what 5th sequel is?), Beatty's HEARSAY media soundbite was that Disney was "thinking about" a reboot with new characters like Red, and Bailey said something similar. Disney periodically sent out those trial balloon pieces gauging public reaction to Pirates without Sparrow, and the reaction was overwhelmingly negative. Even the Deadpool writers dropped out.

So Disney, while concerned about the fallout from Heard's divorce allegations and her 3 years of NDA-violating media slams at JD, still hadn't made a definite decision about Johnny/Sparrow being part of a 6th film. Poopy's December OpEd tipped the scales: they dropped him within mere days. As with Crimes of Grindelwald, every Depp film would be met with a Heard media piece decrying the use of "abuser" Depp and designed to hurt the box office.

The requested date is clearly for 12-13-19, which is a Friday. Someone misread the “3” as a “5” (apparently nobody checked the document), said the 15th is a Sunday (which it is) and Johnny’s team lost the extra week which they so dearly needed . . .

Thanks to Everyone who is keeping us abreast of this 'circus'. I'm surprised at how far this witch will go so she comes out looking Right and Vindicated. It's looking to me like she can't stop this...because she knows she's completely wrong about Johnny and his 'abuse'. If Johnny was this horrible abuser, he would have shown those traits years ago! My blessings and good thoughts and prayers are heaped upon him and his family & friends as long as it takes to clear his name! Love you Tonto!

The denial for the IME exam is not on there yet but it was a stretch anyway for them to think an IME exam now would prove his mental state three years ago.

Brian only got a copy of the transcript. The judge asked the lawyers to draft the Order and so it probably wasn't done by the close of the court day. When the judge signs and files the order it will be posted in the site. I don't know how Brian got the transcript, maybe he paid the court reporter the required fee.
