myfav, I think you are seeing everything through a pair of rose-colored glasses , like a true devoted fan, which is fine to me.myfave wrote:Smythn76 that pic you posted of Johnny is beeeeeauuuuutiful! He doesn’t look any of those things you said!

But he doesn't look that beautiful to me. They say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but to me he looks just sad and ill.
About those pics of him with the bruises:
You can see the bruises very good in the first pic, which shows his profile. They are mostly along his cheek, around his eye, his nose and his temple/forehead. And those are clearly not painted on, they are the real deal. Good thing his bodyguard, the ex-deputy of LA Sheriff's Department, told him to take pics of at least one altercation, as evidence.
Oh and thanks for backing me up, foreveryoung, about him looking sad.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Bruises? No question. The “real deal” for sure. Two bruising inner eyes that will probably look far worse in a couple days, not to mention yet another blow to the jaw. But the thing that really stands out to me as the reason for the black eyes is his extremely swollen nose! Johnny had a naturally perfect, straight, slender nose, from every angle. In this face forward picture, Johnny’s nose looks seriously damaged. I think it goes hand in hand with AH’s bloody pillow scenario. Another role reversal recounting by the prolific story teller herself. I really can’t quantify any more how much I detest that woman.smithyn76 wrote

Just want to throw something else out there that has been bothering me since we started learning the truth. We now know Johnny has been punched in the face many times by AH, in fact so many times she herself just refers to them as “whenever he was hit”. We also know Johnny has endured years of ridicule, especially during and after POTC5 and even for a long time after the divorce, for the seemingly deteriorated condition of his teeth. It was quite some time before Johnny gave that lovely, full smile again. I can’t help wondering if Ms. No-Ink-Needed’s fists may have done far worse than bruise his jaw again and again and again . . .

I wouldn't be surprised that, if there really was blood on the pillow, it's Johnny's blood. I would not put anything past her at this point.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
After reading his declaration and now seeing these photos of his injured face (that beautiful face) I am just heartsick. But I'm also furious at that vicious woman and the fools of the media, so I see I'm among like-minded souls here. My lawsuit concern is this: given the slow court system process, and the delays that lawyers of guilty parties like to throw in, what are the chances that his case will be carried out, settled, and become public knowledge, before he has to go out and try to promote his next film? I'm sure his lawyer is focused on the career recovery part. And once the truth is out there, it will be interesting to see who has him on their shows, especially Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen, etc... At the end of the day, I think that this lying, evil, twisted person should be severely punished just for hurting his FACE. Johnny Depp's face is a national treasure, for heaven's sake. Praying for his heart and soul to heal.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I am so infuriated and disgusted at the violent and vile abuse Johnny has sustained!! Being a survivor myself, I know the damage, both inside and out that results! These last two nights, I can't seem to get dear Johnny's abused face out of my head. It makes me cry. (I hope that monster, Amber Heard, is imprisoned for her abuse of Johnny Depp, the American justice system, the #metoo movement, and so much more!! TRUE Victims will find it MUCH HARDER to be believed in the wake of her destruction and abuse of a movement that was meant to help them.) I am not sure where to put this quote, but it is meant for Johnny and the many Survivors of DV abuse. I have used it for over 30 years to protect my heart and mind.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” --Frank Herbert (from "Dune")
I send this with all love and respect to Johnny Depp and all the other Survivors of abuse out there. May God Bless and Keep You ALL!!

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Moonbeam and welcome Quinn55.
My guess is that this case will be a long and drawn out one as Amber Heard's lawyers are scrambling to find something to give her some credibility. However, with every attempt to move the focus away from her hoax, she digs herself deeper into the hole of guilt. Johnny's evidence is overwhelming and he has the best lawyers on his side.
Now, with the very telling declaration from Kevin, Johnny's long time estate manager, one of Amber Heard's lawyers is in trouble as well. Kevin reported that Marty Singer advised/encouraged Amber Heard that it would be advantageous to her case if she could get her former assistant (fired at the time) to lie to the authorities regarding Australia's "doggie gate". Despite on numerous occasions, Kevin advised Amber Heard on the stringent rules in Australia along with their penalties, she chose to ignore the regulations and that was the beginning of her trouble in Australia. This damaging information could be used against her showing her cocky disregard for laws, with the list of unlawful incidences, told by multiple witnesses and even Amber herself, is slowly being made public. We just need to get the main stream media to report her dishonesty and hoax and make it known with as much fervor as when the media went after innocent Johnny.

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
I see the press as a giant behemoth that feeds on both fortune and tragedy. Attracting the reader or the watcher is a paramount objective and simplicity is also desirous. Clean cut story lines, clear stereotypes because the audience's attention is short-lived and fickle. Johnny's team is attempting to redefine what this story of good and bad is really about. His opponent stole center stage early on and thus got to create the story in all its ramifications -- he's a drunk, a druggie, not on set, missing in action, and the piece d'resistance -- he's an abuser. To walk all of this back isn't just about new and true facts, its about timing, existing audience perceptions etc. They are doing the right things but I think he needs other victories. Things that have nothing to do with this god awful hoax. Things that build on Johnny's profile. Could be a series of cinematic successes, could be a book -- anything that dramatically clears the stage. So that he can re-start the story, revise perceptions.
I remain prepared not to be fazed by the dilemmas Johnny deals with. Solid fan, I am prepared to wait until hell freezes over to get his reputation back to where it should be -- magnificently talented actor and creative genius, and a wonderful human being. The man who got me to open my eyes and become the person I was meant to be.
Will his team win? Don't know. Anything I can do to help, I am committed to doing.

Perhaps we can all rent and watch the Professor and give it positive reviews. Johnny does a magnificent job in this role. Maybe we can start rebuilding by giving this movie the praise it deserves.

Completely agree!
Another thought that runs through my head all the time -- Johnny's never complain, never explain etc. -- I always imagine him wanting to honor who he is, rather than early on getting in a piss-contest with her. Then I think of his mom's death, and the finances and the truck of woe that hit all the same minute.
Oh Johnny

Re: The Lawsuits Thread
Johnny did say he kept quiet because he didn't want to get into a pissing contest. He kept quiet while she was doing her videos, speeches, interviews, open letters to her "sisters" etc. but there is only so much a person can take especially when it concerns their career. I think somewhere in the back of his mind he might have suspected she pull something like this someday or else he would not have permitted Sean to take the pictures, or record the conversation about the door.fireflydances wrote:nebraska wrote:Perhaps we can all rent and watch the Professor and give it positive reviews. Johnny explains the timing of speaking out against Amber Heard's allegations in his declaration.
"The appearance of new evidence not previously in my possession was the impetus for my bringing this lawsuit because, after years of asserting my innocence, I am finally in a position to prove it by dismantling each element of her hoax."

Amen to truth! I'd like to comment on our wanting to do something to help. Helping to spread the truth is our task. Although it lifts my spirits to see anyone defending him on these social media things, especially that Brian guy, I think it's going to take something big and newsworthy, something that does not come from him, to convince people of the truth. I know there are "others" coming forward and telling how the "no-talent evil liar" was abusive to them too. I hope they will be brave enough to go on the record and make it official. Their stories would establish a pattern of abuse. His story becomes one of many, and the emphasis shifts to the real abuser.
As for the "powers that be" in Hollywood, I've noticed that studio personnel and management are constantly changing. The truth always surfaces, and when he's vindicated, they'll know it. His reputation must be restored. He's worked too hard to build it. Now, I'm getting mad again! Mad at the underhanded accountants and management, those fools at Disney, and those horrible friends of you-know-who. (Especially that coven of users. Do these people have no shame? It really burns me up when I think about all those freeloaders living in his apartments! Then, these same people, these idiots, jump right in and help her plot against him and set him up? I ask you: What evil empire do people like this come from?)
