Imdb updated and removed the February date. Nothing new added.

As far as going with the Poole theory, the movie is done, so that isn’t going to change now. There is a tv miniseries coming out at the end of February. I’m afraid our market has been saturated with this story already past many months, there was another one done not long ago on US tv.

Hmm...could it be that they are in trouble maybe with the LAPD or with the law in general, to bring this movie to theaters?

Outside the US though the story isn't well known at all - I mean the murders yes, but not this angle.

I think it is more likely that it will be released later in the year away from the dead season - possibly on the back of Johnny's high profile appearance in Crimes of Grindelwald. Leave aside the US that would make marketing/publicity sense in the rest of the world. I am sure I've seen other actors do this - promoting the big film with a cool indie film also coming out.

If you scroll down this article to the last video clip it is a wonderful interview with Joe Perry - he talks about recording some music for Labyrinth and says it is coming out in September.

I listened to the interview last night - I think he said September here and I read somewhere else he said it's coming out in the summer - but anyway, if you have a chance do listen to it because he again talks about Sweetzerland which is what they all call Johnny's colony in LA (they all being all the musicians and artists that camp there). It is a just wonderful interview - best bit when he talks about Johnny of course.

It's about 10 minutes in or so in the 48 min interview where Joe mentions Johnny asking him to contribute to the sound track and that he thinks the movie will be out in September. Interesting that Johnny would have that kind of say with a new director. Is he also a producer on LAbyrinth?

At which point he references JD is immaterial if I can't play the video. Yahoo entertainment is not letting me play the video

ozzie, I watched it on my iPad. The screen comes up black at first and then the picture - I had to tap the screen again and turn on the sound to get the interview to play. The whole thing is very interesting; Joe sure can go on and on but the people and times he’s reminiscing about are right up my alley. Maybe, try again . . .
