It’s finally here! After months of anticipation, Warner Bros. Pictures–which is handling overseas distribution for SWEENEY TODD–has announced a release date for trailers for the movie. According to their press release, “[E]xciting new footage from the highly anticipated first quarter 2008 worldwide release of SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET” will be released via satellite feed in Europe on October 4th between 2300-2315 GMT, and at the same time in Latin America. The Australian release is October 5th, 0900-0915 EST. Paramount is handling the U.S. theatrical release of SWEENEY TODD, and they have not yet announced when the trailer will be available in the U.S., but we’re hoping it will be up on the official website soon after its European release.
