The Broadcast Film Critics Association has honored PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST, starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, with a nomination as Best Live Action Family Film of 2006. Other nominees in the category include AKEELAH AND THE BEE, CHARLOTTE’S WEB, FLICKA, and LASSIE. The Critic’s Choice Awards ceremony will be held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on January 12, 2007, and will be televised on the E! network on January 20, 2007.
