The Jolly Roger is still flying over the international box office, as PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST claimed the number #1 spot for the 11th time in the past 12 weekends. According to the Hollywood Reporter, DEAD MAN’S CHEST grossed $7.6 million abroad. The blockbuster’s total overseas take is now $625.6 million; it has passed HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS ($614 million) to become the fourth-most-successful overseas movie of all time. DEAD MAN’S CHEST’s next target is the all-time #3 movie, HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE, which earned $658 million.
