Johnny Depp spent less than a minute onstage at the Grammys tonight, just long enough to say this to the crowd: “Good evening. It is, uh, it is a great honor for me to be here tonight to introduce to you . . . (acknowledging the audience cheering) hi, how’re you doing? . . . to introduce to you the sublime Mumford & Sons.” Short and sweet. Mumford & Sons performed with their usual brilliance and capped off the evening by winning the Grammy for Album of the Year for Babel. Sublime indeed! You can see photos of Johnny onstage HERE.
