PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST to finish shooting in a few days, says producer Jerry Bruckheimer
In an interview with Edward Douglas of Comingsoon.net, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that filming of the POTC sequels has resumed in the Bahamas. Bruckheimer says that shooting on DEAD MAN’S CHEST should wrap in five or six days: “We started filming yesterday in the Carribean, we’re in the Bahamas,” Bruckheimer told Douglas. “We’re finishing 2 and then doing 3. I think we have about five or six more days left on PIRATES 2, and then we’re done with it.”
Finishing the third POTC film, however, will be a much longer proposition, according to the producer: “We’ll break in March and edit [POTC]2,” Jerry said, “and then go back at the end of the summer and finish [POTC]3.” The Zone thanks emma for posting the interview on the News & Views forum.
