He is accompanied by a security guard and is greeted by an admirer brandishing a Sharpie and a photo of Captain Jack Sparrow for Johnny to sign. Johnny spent Oscar weekend in New York; he was photographed by paparazzi on Saturday as he emerged from a guitar store on Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village. Johnny was accompanied on that excursion by security chief Jerry Judge and Rock’n’Roll Hall of Famer Patti Smith.
