Gore Verbinski’s RANGO, starring Johnny Depp, arrives on DVD on July 15th!

Saddle up and get to your favorite video outlet, pardner . . . Gore Verbinski’s animated treasure Rango arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on Friday, July 15th! (Yup . . . Friday, not the usual Tuesday release.) Here’s the product description from Amazon.com: “Get ready to tango with Rango, a winner with critics and audiences that’s ‘like nothing you’ve ever seen before’ (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone). Johnny Depp is spectacular as Rango, a kooky pet chameleon who gets tossed into a wild and raucous town in desperate need of a hero. Refreshingly original with eye-popping animation, Rango is ‘loads of fun and genuinely funny’ (Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times).”

Rango is being offered in a Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack with Digital Copy featuring the never-before-seen ending, 10 deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes feature with the cast and crew, a filmmakers’ commentary, and exclusive interactive Blu-ray features including picture-in-picture storyboards and an interactive field trip to Dirt. Rango is also available in a DVD edition which includes the never-before-seen ending, the filmmakers’ commentary and the 10 deleted scenes. Amazon has excellent pre-order prices of $19.99 for the Blu-ray Combo Pack and $15.99 for the DVD, including free standard shipping. Enter the code RANGO5GO at checkout and save an extra $5 on either the Blu-Ray or the DVD!
