PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4 to film in Puerto Rico?

According to the Puerto Rican newspaper El Vocero, executives from the Film Corporation of Puerto Rico recently met with a senior Disney executive to discuss the possibility of using Puerto Rican locations to film Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. “It would be an honor to have this production in Puerto Rico because it is very large and would create many jobs,” said Mariella Perez Serrano, the executive director of the Film Corporation of Puerto Rico. If the deal materializes, notes El Vocero, it would also bring Johnny Depp back to the island; JD filmed The Rum Diary in Puerto Rico last spring and received a very warm reception.
