Music news–Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis to perform on his next album, says Glenn Tilbrook
Interviewed in Nottingham prior to a concert, Glenn Tilbrook, who shot to fame as a member of Squeeze in the late 1970s and is currently touring the UK and Ireland as a solo artist backed by the Fluffers, spoke with great enthusiasm about the new album he is preparing. “Over the last two weeks I’ve been mixing my new record and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” Tilbrook declared. “I was approached by record producer Bob Clearmountain who said he wanted to mix my next record. Not only that but he’s waiving his normal fee. That really is a highlight for me! And it’s got Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis playing on it.” The album, called Pandemonium Ensues, is due for release in February 2009. While we’re waiting, Tilbrook has one-minutes samples of the new songs available on his website HERE.
