Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska as Alice, and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, continues its impressive box office run; on April 1st it passed the $300 million mark at the North American box office, and reached $309.8 million by the end of Easter weekend, despite losing its 3D screens to Clash of the Titans and How to Train Your Dragon. Alice’s performance overseas continues to be very strong; its worldwide total of $732.1 million gives Alice in Wonderland the 35th biggest box-office gross in history.
