Here’s a sign that cameras will roll soon on The Rum Diary, starring Johnny Depp: producers have put out a call for extras for the film, and are holding several casting calls in Puerto Rico; the first one took place on Saturday, February 28th. “Johnny Depp is looking for a battalion of more than 800 local extras for the film The Rum Diary, which begins filming on the island on March 30,” reports local newspaper El Nuevo Dia, which also states that director Bruce Robinson has arrived in Puerto Rico.
