Johnny to receive the Lee Strasberg Artistic Achievement Award!

Johnny will be honored by the Actor’s Fund on October 30, 2004 at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City. He will receive the Lee Strasberg Artistic Achievement Award to honor his body of work. He is certainly one of the youngest actors ever to be so honored.

Tickets are available to the general public but prices are extremely high: the cheapest ticket to the event is $500. For ticket information, call the Actors’ Fund at (212) 221-7300.

Please note there is no confirmation that Johnny will arrive in person to pick up his award. The UK premiere of THE LIBERTINE is scheduled on October 29, which would leave Johnny very little time to jet across the Pond to New York City. Thanks, Emma, for breaking this story!

FINDING NEVERLAND premiere in Santa Barbara on October 1st!

Tickets for the Santa Barbara Film Festival premiere of Finding Neverland on October 1, 2004 go on sale next Monday, August 9.
