DEAD MAN'S CHEST tops the international box office for the 9th week in a row!

Nobody can catch Captain Jack Sparrow–PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST sailed to the top of the international box office charts for the 9th week in a row. As of September 4, DEAD MAN’S CHEST had earned $579.1 in overseas markets, and is on course to reach $1 billion in worldwide earnings by the end of the week, reports Variety. The only other films in history to earn $1 billion are TITANIC (of course) and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING. Very impressive! The Zone thanks emma for reports from Variety and The Hollywood Reporter; you can read the full stories on our News & Views forum.
