An online video store, tlavideo.com, is now offering pre-orders of THE LIBERTINE, featuring Johnny Depp’s tour-de-force portrayal of the second Earl of Rochester, and lists the release date (for Region 1) as June 27, 2006. The list price is $28.99, but tlavideo is offering a discount price of $22.99. No details are given regarding the contents of the DVD, but a recent article in the trades suggested that THE LIBERTINE would be a director’s cut, and that a “Making of THE LIBERTINE” documentary would be included.
