This lively mockumentary crosses a caper film with an affectionate tribute to the late director Ted Demme, and features Johnny prominently in the cast of Demme admirers. (Ted Demme directed Johnny in BLOW. ) Although IN SEARCH OF TED DEMME has received excellent word-of-mouth from industry insiders who have seen the film, there are still no plans to either release the film to movie theaters or to sell it to a cable network.
