Aimed at the international market, this trailer gives some more detail about who John Dillinger was and why he became a folk hero to Americans sunk in the depths of the Depression; it also shows how Dillinger’s popularity made him a target for J. Edgar Hoover’s newly-formed FBI. For the romantics among us, this trailer also sheds more light on the relationship between Dillinger and Billie Frechette, played by Marion Cotillard.
