Terry Gilliam's THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS to premiere at Cannes

Terry Gilliam’s allegory The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, featuring the late Heath Ledger’s final performance, will hold its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, the filmfest organizers announced today. Gilliam’s film will screen out of competition, and will include a tribute to Ledger. As Zone readers will remember, Ledger’s role was completed by a trio of actors: Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell. JD finished his work on Doctor Parnassus before reporting to work on Public Enemies in March 2008.
