The Nickelodeon TV network hopes to emulate the success of their Kids’ Choice Awards across the pond–for the first time ever, they are hosting a UK edition of the popular green slime-fest. The awards will take place at ExCeL London on Saturday, October 20, before an audience “of thousands.” Johnny Depp is nominated for Best Movie Actor for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END, along with castmate Orlando Bloom, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rowan Atkinson. Keira Knightley received a Best Movie Actress nod for AT WORLD’S END; she is joined by Emma Watson, Cameron Diaz, and Dakota Fanning. Nominees for Best Movie include PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END; HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX; SHREK THE THIRD; and THE SIMPSONS MOVIE.
