The 2007 Golden Globes telecast lacked its usual sparkle for Deppheads, as Johnny Depp did not attend this year’s ceremony; he is in London preparing for his role as Sweeney Todd. Johnny was nominated as Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Comedy or Musical for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST; the Golden Globe was awarded to Sacha Baron Cohen for his performance in BORAT.
